It was very refreshing, and in a way, reassuring to hear your experiences on the subject of climate change as it appears to be identical to my own but in different areas of the world and I can completely agree with you that global temperature disruption is a more accurate term to use. It almost feels like our seasons are "off" by a month or so compared to 5 or six years ago. People are quite happy to dismiss the idea of global warming (climate shift, global temperature disruption, whatever one wants to call it) even when they do not have any information to the contrary to back up their argument. It should be obvious that out planets environment, it's eco-system and climate are related and also balanced and that major changes in one will drastically affect the others. We can keep talking change or we can make it happen, we can continue to have more plastic furniture than we could ever use or we can secure a future for our species with less medical problems, but I'm afraid we can't have both. That is a great quote by George Carlin and I always enjoy talented comedians who manage to sum the worlds problems, essentially making us laugh at ourselves. Heres an old saying that I think makes a nice metaphor: "Don't piss in the pond you drink from".
