Jim, I was made redundant at the begining of May, I got a nice pay off so i decided to take some time off rather than jump straight back into another job, it's been a revelation, I'm fitter, I'm sleeping better, my relationship has got better because I have time to do things, my house is in better repair and my hobbies have come on in leaps and bounds, the only thing that's got worse is my bank balance, but that's not the most important thing! of course my summer will end at some point, but i'm going to make sure to remember to take time off in the future...
